Fundamentals of Soft Technology

Fundamentals of Soft Technology
Technology is not always about machines, mobiles, or computers. There is also something called soft technology, which means the ideas, skills, and methods we use to make work easier. It is about how we do things, not just what tools we use.
For example, if a farmer buys a tractor (hard technology), learning the right way to plough the field and save fuel is soft technology. In the same way, in IT and software, the computer and mobile apps are hard technology, but the training, planning, teamwork, and customer support are soft technology.
A simple example is WhatsApp. The app itself is hard technology. But the way we create groups, share information quickly, and teach others how to use it—that is soft technology.
Soft technology is about communication, learning, and managing work in a smart way. It helps people use machines and software better. Just like good farming methods increase crop production, good soft technology increases the success of software and IT projects.
In short, hard technology gives us the tool, but soft technology teaches us how to use it in the best way. Together, they make life easier and more productive.
